My favorite osprey nest, below a small cliff that offers a unique perspective.
The two little chicks are well-camoflaged. The larger one is 2 days old, the smaller one 1 day old.

Great family group photo, Sandy. Definitely a different view from what we usually see. What is the BG? Seems to be lacking a little in IQ - not sure if it is a TC effect or maybe a large crop.

Pretty cool setting you found there. I also like the interaction and BG. I might put the birds a bit lower in the frame and there are some jpg artifacts in the BG, some NR of the water (?) might help with that. The nictitating membrane of the bird on the right is partially covering the eye. Do you have an image in this series with the eye entirely visible? I hope you can follow the development of the chicks.

Wow, what a great perspective on an Osprey nest, and I've never seen chicks at this young an age! F/10 seemed to get it done DOF-wise, but I would wish for the nictitating membrane to not be over the birds eye on the right. Great image!
