I think it's a boy. Why not a vertical, or at least, lower in the frame?

This is full frame clearly I needed to be wider or at least left more room at the top, my reflexes are not what they were:D

FWIW, I've tried to develop the habit of shooting a bit wider than I think I like. Not easy to do because you really like to compose in the viewfinder. Especially after shooting 35mm chromes for years. I usually compose then back off a bit. Nothing like a zoom lens!!!!

Neither are mine. :) The best bet would have been to turn the camera on end and create a vertical original.... That works well when you are having trouble fitting the subject in a horizontal frame.

Great points !! ... Ken at least I'm glad you did not go for a tight shot :) Sure wish you could have zoomed out a little more !!! Same at about one hundred or less would have been sweet !!
