Hi Peter, Good one! Strong sand ripples as leading lines with warm filtered light. Just enough sky that has some interest. Lots of detail and a comp that flows...

Hey Peter,
You'll have to explain the HH thing to me one day and f13.....I tend to go to f22 and almost always tripod. I love the lines but am debating if it is a touch over sharpened......still very effective and as Dave mentioned.....very good job minimizing the sky and finding nice curves. Looks like I will have to pay a visit to S. Africa just for the dunes!!!

one of your best dunescapes for me Peter. love the duotone look, wide comp and the ripples are exquisite...did you go to Namibia for this or somewhere on the South African coast?

I don't think it is oversharpened, just strong side lighting increasing the contrast in the sand.

Nice work of the ripples acting as leading lines into the image.
