An imamature specimen of this species growing in dim rainforest.
Canon EOS 3, canon EOS 100 mm macro, ISO 100, Flash x2, F22, Tripod.

some very nice fungi there john! I think i would use a highlight adjustment to get a bit more detail in the shroom. I also wish they weren't so large in the frame but thats just my personal preference.

Nice shot John. Have no problem with the framing and the surrounds look good but the whites look blown near centre. May be my monitor

John, I really like the image, the light quality is great.
The crop is a little closer than ideal for a normal full size image, but for this small size it really helps to show detail.
As a small detail there is one tiny hot area in the upper center but it doesnt distract too much.

Hey John, I like the crop, but I'm a tight crop kinda guy. Nice details, and my only suggestion would be a little more light on the under side of the shrooms, a reflector could have taken care of that, or could be done in PS.
