Hey Gary, I've been spying on you. :p He cooperated and gave a nice head turn in that pretty morning light. I still see a tiny blue cast in these images but you sure have been capturing some beauties! Hope to see you soon. Working too much to get out and about right now.

Same eagle, same stick, different interpretation? Did you desaturate the sky a little?

Your picture was taken 2/16/08 at 3:50 PM and at a different angle hardly a comparison. My image was taken this morning just after 9:00 AM, there was still a bit of fog in the air and much softer light!!

I'll let the others say which they prefer:

Angle is steep as I'm sure you know. Great job in exposure and great background. Great job!

A bit unfair to have someone post an image in the thread of your image Gary.:(

Gary, I like your image for the natural colors I perceive here, remember I have not seen a Bald eagle up close and in its natural habitat at all. Pin sharp and general subject size in frame works vey well for me.
