Was a cold morning when making this image. (-22C -8F) There was beautiful hoar frost all over the trees and grasses. Would be a dream image getting the Snowy perched on a hoar frost covered branch!

Great banking pose, light, details and look back. In the BG in front of the owl's right wing are some dark spots that look like clone marks or something like this.

There were some trees in the distance, is this what you see? I'm not sure what you are seeing.

another beauty Jody.....Axel may be referring to this little light area that seems a bit out of place.
And thanks so much for the input on my sparrow portrait

Yes, I mean the area Dave highlighted and even a bit higher up. A tree in the BG would explain it. Slightly above the line Dave made, there is something odd, maybe some stuff on the sensor.

Perfetct pose and head angle. I like the subtle browns you show in the wings. Excellent.

Wow...I hate you here to Jody!

Very, very nice look at the birds back and the head turn is priceless. My only nit would be to remove your name from that image and replace it with mine:-)
