These American Robins where all over the grass in Central Park in NYC. Getting down on the ground, I got some nice poses. I loved the look back over the shoulder on this one. I'm not sure if this is the best comp putting the eye in the middle although it is in the upper 3rd. I've got plenty of room to work with if a different crop is better. Any thoughts? Hi Richard - for my tastes - I find it a little too large in the frame - could just be me though.
Lovely sharp details throughout and love the reflection in the eye.
Good show :)

lance nailed my first thought. just too big. it was that or shave a slither off the left side of the frame. the reflection is nice and a great sign of just how sharp it is!!
