Got this guy creeping around in my backyard after the rain. He didn't like me getting in his face and kept crawling away, but I did get this shot of him looking back. All I did was crop for better composition, normal processing and then blasted away with the vibrance and saturation.

Canon 50D, Canon 100mm L macro lens, tripod, no flash, f6.3, 1/25 sec (way too slow - got lucky) and ISO 100

Hi Patti, love this little guy! His legs and other features stand out against the green bg and the rest of him fits right in with it. I might crop away the LRC to eliminate the bit of green.

Really cool looking composition and the bug looks like it should be in the movies. The color combo is great:)I agree w/ Kerry regarding the LRC.

Thanks Kerry and Denise. I fixed the LRC and then I went wild - FotoSketcher on WaterColor with slight texture blended back to original.

Thanks to all. Jackie, I'm with you. I prefer the original and I like the crop/clone job to get rid of the green at the bottom, but now I think I should have lightened up the original a bit. The green looks a bit dull in comparison with the sketched version.

Getting all of this great feedback really helps me to "see" things I would never have noticed before!
