Motif: Feet - Great Horned Owl

I've been waiting a whole month to post this one.....

Was photographing a great horned owl, then out of nowhere a RSH approached and the Owl took off towards the hawk. It's hard to make out the face, but I kept this image solely for the foot motif since I knew Alfred would enjoy it.

Excellent capture, Michael. Really shows the wing detail well. And thers no missing those talons.
I have captured this habit in eagles when they are battling ospreys, but havent gotten a real good one yet.
