One of the 3 species of hummingbirds we had the opportunity to photograph in Arizona. Just love these little ones as they are a real challange.

Sweet flight pose and comp. Only wish for a bit more DOF so that the whole flower would e in focus.

Joe, lovely iridescence, and I like the angle. Comp looks good too. The point of focus seems to be on the chest/neck area, as the head doesnt seem as sharp.

Joe, I'm seeing some back focus here. What do you think? I love everything else here though, the color of the bird and the flower, background, comp, wings......everything's good!

Never had an issue with back focus. What are you seeing?

It seems the sharpest part of the bird is the breast, not the eye, that's all. It's a nit though. :)
