I love this time of day. The black bass and stripers will start to feed on the surface soon.

Hi Daniel, As an old bass fisherman I loved that time of day also. The light is beautiful and I feel you framed the image well. The cloud coming out of the tree adds alot to the image
I might take a small bit off the top right below the 2 diagonal clouds. Also wondering how it might look with more reflection on the bottom...

Hey Daniel,
Doesn't appear any way to avoid the LH edge tree....so you minimized it well and have simplified this very nicely. I do hope you also composed this vertically with a longer lens length to get just the clouds/sun and tree....this would also make a strong comp. Just some food for thought next time out. Very nicely handled and composed.

Very nice. I agree the tree to the left bothred me at first and then I noted that it's vibration is echoed in the clouds. Perhaps a nice plus.

Very much to like in this beautiful landscape: colours, texture of the clouds and water, delicate nature of the winter branches, and whilst I agree that the image would be more perfect without the LH tree, nature is seldom perfect and so I rather like its' defiant inclusion.

Magic, indeed! :D Beautifully composed and light to die for.

I only see one little patch that you apparently missed in masking. Should be an easy fix.

Just for fun I wanted to see if I could remove the tree on the left edge. With the big image and plenty of patience, I think it could be done believably.

Heavens, well done for seeing that patch, once it was pointed out it became very obvious. Just shows how effective the finished product was, blinded by the Magic! :D

Like the repost.

Hi Daniel,

I agree with the previous posters and David did a good job on catching the masking issue.
