An Indian Nightjar shot at Similipal Biosphere Reserve in Orissa, India. This was shot with the light of the SUV illuminating the subject. I wish the rock in front were absent, but there was no way to avoid it in the angle that I wanted. :(
No additional blurring done.

Comments and critiques welcome...

Too bad about the rock. Still very cool to get one of these. Nice capture.

Sharp with a good EXP. I could do without the black strip at the top and of course, without the rock....

I have read about these birds a lot in Buddhadeb Guha's books, Thanks a lot for showing me!

These guys have an ability to stay extremely still and are very well camouflaged. Its only on shining a light that they become visible due to their eyes (they reflect a red hue).
