Lovely BG and inquisitive pose, Giulio. Good call on the -EC. You could tone down the specular highlights on the damp rocks. I'm wondering if this isn't a pipit.

Hi Giulio. Nice pose and background -- I like how the BG brightens around the bird. Sharp from what I can tell. A little bright for my taste though....I'd be knocking EC back 1/3 - 2/3's of a stop. I'd also like to see just a *little* more room below the feet. A low contrast bird like that could also use a touch of contrast enhancement.

JMO of course.

Hi Tony, I was also in doubt, I am not very familiar with these birds...

Giulio:

Nice pose, background. I also felt it was a bit bright, and tweaked it a bit. Tried to reduce the brightness of the rock reflections and add a bit of definition to the birds plumage.

Just an optional look.

Cheers

Randy

My linear burn on the flanks. Was working on it when Randy posted his excellent version :)

GIuilo: everybody must be loving you!

On second look, Randy's flanks are still too bright for me :)

Hi Giulo

This definately looks like a Pipit but difficult to say which one. I would say a Blyth's or Tawny Pipit as the back claw looks too short for a Richard's Pipit. I like the pose and clean background. As mentioned previously looks a touch bright which has been tamed in the reposts.

Cheers
