Hi John, Well done as we are coming to expect. Great head angle for the adult, good one for the chick. If you could have worked out a way to photograph from the blind at ground level, the image would have been much more intimate but you probably would have lost the lower half of the chick... IAC, well done.

Very nice photograph! I'm not normally a huge fan of square compositions but with the two birds looking outward in oppsite directions it looks fine like this. A sharpening halo is visible along the top of the head of the adult.

The little ones always make for good images, especially with parental interaction. Very nice.

Hi John,
I often photograph this bird and know it is very difficult to get that close and have the white feathers well exposed.
Love your lighting, both natural and flash, and composition. Just hope one day to come cross the whole family like that near my home town too...
