Hi,
Here's a pair of orange tips on wild garlic enjoying spring.

Hey Time, what a great find. Very nice details on the critters and flowers, and good BG.

That is a superb image - gorgeous colours and detail, I think it is so good I hardly dare criticise but I would have tried f8 and f11 (you may well have done?) the reason I say this is that just a little more DOF would probably have put the male's right antenna in focus.:)

Hi Jonathan,
The problem with increasing DOF is it brings the background more into focus, I should've been using a tripod then I could have tried focus stacking. Alternatively I could get a sharp antennae from the sharp antennae shop and stick it on :D.
Thanks for comment.

What a beautiful image! I like it as presented, and I wouldn't worry about the OOF antenna. I love the patterns on the butterflies. Great "perch", which could have been a subject onto itself.

Beautifull image! I love the patterns on the butterflies and the smooth light.

Hey Tim, I agree with the others that this is a fantastic image. It does seem a bit dark to me so I lightened it a very small amount and sharpened the OOF antenna.

What a wonderful find, Tim! Nicely composed and good details throughout. Lucky you to find two and on a good looking perch as well!
