I love the composition and the DOF. I'm just not sure I love the color of the BG against the color of the leaves. Not sure why...can't put my finger on it. Maybe if there was a touch more contract between the two (the BG and the leaves?)

Good eyes and great idea! As for the image as presented, I'm think if a bit more contrast would be better. Then again it would give a different feel to the photograph :) Composition-wise, I wonder what if the "bottom" leaf is a bit more to either its left or right.

I like the colors, the concept, the light, and the BKGR but the COMP does not work for me with the merge of the edge of the smaller leaf with the petiole of the larger. Was this a set-up or a naturally occurring situation?

I like it. Nice composition and perfectly smooth BG. I like the "shadow" of the leaf showing through, and the detailed veins on the leaves.
