The flowers adds a note of color to the image but in my opinion they are a bit distracting in this case :)

I like environmental shots myself, but I agree with Juan, the pink flowers are just a tad loud. I wonder if a tighter 4x5 crop might do the job? (don't know here, just guessing). I'd keep some of the pink flowers though -- nice to have some contrast.

I personally don't mind seeing flowers in a bird shot. For this one, I'd like to see more flowers though instead of the branches. The bird itself looks very good to me !
