The male is working hard to find and bring food to the female, as she gets it from the male, she will quickly take it apart and go to the nest where the new generation is waiting.

I know the angle is not ideal but I'll take it.

Danny, I feel its more the partial wingspread that has caused the shadow, than the actual light angle. Thats a fair size meal they have, and I like the way the female is peering from behind.

Thanks, I actually like the wing shadow and how the females head just breaks that shadow.

Stuart, it is the male looking over here shoulder.

Hi Danny, IMO this is an outstanding image that has the feel of a Greek tragedy. The BG couldn't be more beautiful. The shooting angle and the shadows? In this case, who cares!! You have given us an amazing composition.

Shalom Danny! As much as I love the action and behaviour, the shadow, oof male and massive perch almost kill this image for me. Someone has to get this perch out of there - the sooner the better....;)
