I took this image in February as storm moved across the wide open marsh in Chobe National Park.
The dead trees that litter the the landscape are a reminder of the chaning dynamics of the Savute Channel, that I saw reach the marsh for the first time in 20 years.

Lovely. I like the colours. The colours at the top left corner doesn't add much to the image. The drama in the sky is from the centre to the right of the image. May be zooming in to avoid the left portion would have been good. A vertical with the tree would work well.
In the present composition, less space at the bottom ie. taking off one third of the foreground grass would further strengthen it. Lot of possibilities. Look forward to more compositions.
Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Agree,Roberts repost does it for me also. The elimination of part of the left sky definately helped the image. I like the tree placement along with the warm light....

Super image, rich warm colors. Also prefer the cropped version, but this is ready for the printer. Very nice.
