Here I come!

5D MKII + 500, f/5.6 1/3200sec ISO 400. sw DPP I could clone out the other one, but I chose to keep it as is, maybe just being lazy :D

Arash, I would do the portrait crop in this shot, tighter on both sides and more on top. TFS.

The focus of this shoot was nesting stilts so I wanted to show the environment and the "nesting ground" a bit, but since the other one is not looking at the camera maybe it is a better idea to crop it as a portrait.

Let see which one gets more votes.

Thanks

Arash, nice. I was thinking of portrait mode with both in, I guess it will have to be square crop to get both in.
Re-crop of one bird is nice too. :)

I don't mind the original comp but it would have been stronger had the grounded bird been as sharp as the incoming one. I do think the original would be stronger too with a bit trimmed on both sides. Great habitat!

Arash, I like your OP, and although the grounded stilt isint as sharp, he does balance the comp. After seeing the OP, with all the space, and then the repost in a vertical, the vertical just seems too tight. The landing stilt is pin sharp, and just love the BG. Well captured.

Arash I like this comp, however I perfect a few more distance between landing and nesting ground. It's nice shot.

Hi Arash,
I like the first one also. Also wish the one on the ground was clearer but the incoming flight shot with the eye contact and perfect focus is not easy to capture...very nice and great BG

I prefer the repost, Arash; it makes for a cleaner comp IMO. The second bird was somewhat distracting from the main attraction, which is the lovely BIF. TFS.

I like both versions. The vertical is great but I also like the one with the 2nd bird. Great wing pose!
