I don't take a lot of vertical shots, but if a subject cooperates and I have been able to get some horizontal shots I will then try to get some vertical shots. I thought I would post this one to see what everyone thinks. Thanks.

Canon EOS 7D EF600mm f/4L IS USM with Canon 1.4x II teleconverter.

This is very nice, love the perch and BG, pose is great too! leaves on the perch look a bit sharper than the head, I would blur the leaves a bit and sharpen the head more. nice well rounded photo, TFS.

Excellent! I would prefer to move lightly to left, but still I like this one!

I would not do anymore sharpening, if anything else, the halo around the bird. Nice clean BG>

I love the mini raptor-like claw!! Good perch and BG. I wouldn't mind seeing the bird even higher in the frame.

Very good pose, perch, color and detail These can be hard to get proper exposure Agree w above, crop a little off the top, add a tad to the LS
