I know these have been done a lot but this is something new for me as I have adjusted my equipment for birding and have gathered a large amount of info/skills from this community. I have been trying to grab an "activity" shot with only a few successes, but this one was cute enough to post. It is from Cape Coral, Florida, near my home. These birds are my cup of tea, since I do not have much time for this hobby, these birds do not mind people and can be approached reasonably well. (Can I say that they do not give a hoot)

Hi Matthew I do not see an image. Now I do, Nice light and pose and I like the OOF flowers in the BG and as usual the bright yellow eye is captivating. I think you could lose some space form the right I might even go to a full vertical.

Nice light, detail, color, and pose. I could see this as a vertical as well but like the presented comp. The slight upward angle of the perch makes it look as if he's contemplating a jump across the open space.
