Due perhaps to geography and vegetation more spread out, Cape May may be a top spring migration spot but is not as well visited by photographers as Crane creek, Point Pelee, High island, etc are.
I'm wondering if a combined songbird-shorebird migration visit in May would be fruitful or too iffy, dependent on weather patterns and knowing where to be at the right time?
Warblers, vireos, thrushes, etc - too iffy and vegetation too spread out to be a recommended spot for photography the first two weeks of May vs. the Lake Erie places?
