Very nice comp, like the diagonal line of the flower. Great details and excellent BG.

I like this a lot! Mike already covered the highlights.

I think the bug is some type of weevil.

Nice shot, with great detail and a excellent BG. This could be a sub species of the Twig Wilters.

Can't help with the ID......but the colors are very nice. Did you try getting in even tighter?

Lovely flower! I like the curves of the petals. Nice composition and the bug adds a point of interest. Very nice blurred bg. Yellow on green is such a wonderful color combination.

Lovely image and welcome to the forum! I also love the petals on the flower - they really lead your eye up to that bug! I would encourage you to create this type of image first - get it as good as you can (like this one) and then go for broke and try to get a more head-on image just to see if he'll hold still for you. If he jumps, well you got this one - but if he stays - you'll get an incredible pose!

I think this maybe a leaf-footed bug. Very nice colors and BG. I like how the diagonal comp leading you right to the bug. I agree with Jules that a more head-on pose would be nice. It creates a much more intimate image.

Thanks to all,
I agree with the "head-on pose", but in this case it was not possible, because after this shot he went down and I lost it in the vegetation...
