A great white egret, taken at a bird rookery in the Everglades. Shot from my canoe.
Sony a700, 70-400mm, @ 400mm
1/1600, ISO640, f5.6
Added a bit of canvas on the left and removed a few leaves as well. I also reduced the exposure about 1/3 in LR.

Does look like a giant white roadrunner!

Sharp, good choice to adjust the exposure in post.

I might be tempted to add a bit canvas above as well.

Bird is angling away from us a bit.

Really nice Connie. Beautiful exposure for the whites. I like the simplicity of the image. The only thing I would wish for is a better head angle (CCW rotation towards you).

Interesting image and pretty much perfect except for your arrest.... You cannot sneak anything by the head angle policia.
