Shot this the other day after work, found a reliable perch and waited.
Tiny little fire-balls :).

Nice hummer. I have yet to get any good images of this species. Next time, you might try attaching a thinner perch to the end of this one. You might also try some NR on the BG. Nice overcast light and profile.

lovely detail and colour! I detect a bit of noise on the darker parts of the primaries and tail feathers, maybe slight noise reduction run selectively on those areas will improve it as posted.

Gorgeous color on this hummer which contrasts nicely with the bg;sharp with good details and I didn't see any noise before reading the other comments.

Super details and colors. I love the pose. I agree w/ thinner perch but I would still be happy w/ this shot:)

What a beauty...
Colors and Comp are great.
Agree with comments regarding a thinner perch and the noise.

Very nicely down
Great colors, nailed the exposure, and excellent detail in the HB
Assuming this wasn't at a feeder setup - the perch is what it is
Surprised by the amount of BKGD noise at ISO 400 - - was this full frame?
Thanks for sharing

Thanks for the comments everyone.
No, it's not full frame but it's not much of a crop either.
I didn't actually run any NR on BG and that's something i usually do at ISO 400. To my eyes last night it looked alright but i do notice the noise now, something i can deal with easily enough.
Attaching another perch to the existing is a good idea, something i had not considered.
