Finally made it to the wave yesterday. What a grueling hike. Too much for this Florida boy used to the swamp. But it was worth it though. Amazing surreal place.

This is the second wave which had a nice puddle due to snow melt and which provided a cool reflection.

EOS 5d with 24-70mm 2.8L @ 42mm

ISO: 200
White balance cloudy
Slight crop.

I just processed this while sitting at the gate at the Phoenix Airport from my laptop.:D

Looks to me like this should be rotated 90 degrees CC. If you do that it looks slghtly tilted. On the other hand maybe I'm the one off level.

I really like the reflection you've got here Michael, but shouldn't it be rotated 90 degrees - looks sideways. I love the images from here - just have to bit the bullet and make the hike someday.

you know what? you're right. it seems that for some reason, this pic was not rotated when I downloaded it.

I kind of liked how it looked. but now that you mention it, I need to redo this....

maybe it's the long hike that had my mind off balance....

I plays with your mind but I feel a rotation will strengthen it. Not seeing straight are you...:)
