The slight tilt of the head shows he is aware of you. I like the colours, and wish you had shown to the bottom of the neck, thus we would have seen the full curve of the neck. I would run some NR on the BG.

Good-looking specimen, nice light and BG, too. Adding to Stuart's comments, I wish there were a bit more head turn toward you.

This is a lovely shot with great detail especially around the eye. I agree with the NR on the BG (listen to me!). I would favour more room on the right.
