Sula, welcome to the Macro forum! What a tremendous portrait! Pretty perch, pretty pose and beautiful lighting - what else could you ask for? I love the way the front legs are outstretched over the top of the flower - that is super! I also love the shadows of the legs on the rear of the body. Everything is sharp and crisp - BG is perfection - this is really a wonderful insect image. Can't wait to see what else you have to show us!

Beautiful image Sulasula! Pin sharp detail with a nice clean bg and great colours.:) I see that you are using the Tamron 180mm. Do you find it a great lens? I've seen a review that reckons the Tamron 180mm is sharper that the Canon 180mm?
