Lovely color, composition and BG, surprised that f/11 didn't afford you greater DOF.

Yes f/11 I agree would have thought you would have got more DOF?

Personally I would like to see a little more on the lhs to balance it and some room cropped above. Colour looks bright & vivid with a good diffused BG. Might go for another round of USM to see if you can get some more detail out of the head.

I need to make some micro adjustments in my sigma 150mm, i think that the lens focus before the subject, that's why the DOF is short at f/11...

Its amazing how the colour of the frog is so similar to his perch. I agree with Steve regarding the crop, and just love that BG.

Steve,
What do you mean with "lhs"?
Thanks

Agree with comments !!! dof wise not surprised If the frog was four feet away and you take the 1.6 corp factor into the equation, f 11 and camera .... the dof is .01 cm or .03 inches. Closer would have been even worse !!

If you give me the exact distance from the exif info will calculate again !! You don't get much even if stopping down to f22 !!! Big Congrats !!

Alfred,
Subject Distance: 0.62 m

About the crop, lather i´ll post a cropped image, this one is almost original, just a small angle correction (1º or 2º)...
