like the details and exposure, eye contact is good too. just a bit less steep angle would do the trick. TFS

Thank you Arash. I will try to move back a bit more next time. With the amount of birds the rookery is I was lucky to have some time to isolate this bird. ;)

Like the blue BG and the detail in the body. I agree that the angle may be a little steep.

I would add that the HA, although not technically angled away from the lens, could be better IMO. I would also crop some at left to have the stork anchored solidly in the corner. Good exposure, and sharp enough as posted.

Very nice image Troy.
I like the idea of the crop from left.
I am not sure if I am seeing noise or something in the darker blues of the sky near the top. Could be my monitor or something from downsizing.
Good for you to get wet for a nice capture.
