Hi Guys
I have been lurking on this site for a few months now and have decided to become a member. I am continually amazed at the amount of help and information that flows from members to all that ask, so I am very happy to have the opportunity to join the BPN family.
I am originally from New Zealand but have lived in Western Australia for the last 35 years. I first became interested in photography in my early 20's, this interest was reborn when I took 3 months holiday (Long service leave) to tour around Australia 4 years ago with my wife and I purchased a digital compact for this trip. I have now a Canon 10D, 24-70F2.8, 70-200F4, 1.4TC, 28-135F3.5. I think I have now found the limits of the 10D and my aim is to get a 1D4 and the 500F4 ASAP. I find the 10D and my current lens set is really good for big birds that don't move, but there is a limit to the number of interesting images you can take in the museum....:D
Glad to be here,
Don Railton
