After some debate with myself over the choice between the Canon 9000 and 9500 printers I decided to get the 9500. I made the decision mostly due to the pigment in and the longevity of the ink after printing.
Well, after setting it up, I was able to make about 8 prints tonight and I couldn't be happier with the results. While the prints take a bit longer than my old i9900, the prints are sharp, colors are well saturated with smooth transitions, and the prints have great contrast with a wide gamut. I had zero color management issues with the color match to my calibrated monitor the best I have had.
So, I am a happy camper :D
