The light is a bit intense to my taste and you have some hot areas in the white area of the neck. I think that toning down the image a bit would work much better. Like the perch, BG and pose of the bird :-)

Hi SP, maybe remove a little saturation from the colours, which should tone down the bright spot on the back, and what about a tighter crop if you have the pixels, removing the distracting cluster of leaves on the right?
Very nice picture though, liked the background and the branch the bird is perched on with the thorns. Well done.
