lovely image Grant - great composition with the OOF oryx watching attentively and the big bloke just strolling along nonchalantly...

I wonder if a slight contrast boost won't further improve this? Try and run Unsharp Mask @ 20%, 10pixels and see the effect.

Thanks Harshad, glad you know the tigress. I had a great time in Bandhavgahr although I guess everybody dreams of getting tiger pics like you have. And thanks Morkel, I will try the PS trick now. I am not too clued up in PS at all and working at it slowly when time allows.

cheers

Beautiful 'lionscape', Grant, that paw really does it! Nice to see the CK with some greenery. TFS

A lot to like about this image with the oryx lined up on the horizon with their horns sticking up into the sky. Love the raised front paw but would have liked a little more separation between the other front paw and the little bush and perhaps seeing the back paw instead of it being hidden by another bush … but that is being super critical because it is a very well composed and interesting image. Quite frankly, if I had a choice between seeing the back paw and losing the raised front paw I would keep it like it is. Very nice, thanks Grant.

Nice image. You got a decent low angle. The oryx in the background sum up the mood. Thanks for sharing.

Cheers,

no problem Grant. I took a minute to give it a whack and show you what I mean...

Unsharp Mask @ 20%, 50 pixels (using it this way doesn't really do "sharpening" per se but it makes the contrast pop)

Goods casual walking pose Grant, and overcast conditions always helps with animals, showing better detail. Morkel's repost looks good.

I really like the inclusion of environment here. The OOF Oryx's add to the image
