Good job in freezing the action, and the image looks properly exposed (although some of the darks could go darker IMO). Too bad the gannet has passed you, and the light angle is not ideal with most of the body and face shadowed. A dust spot needs cleaning up at left;).

Good-looking specimen, good sharpness, too. I wish the bird were flying toward you. I might remove the black spots on the belly, the white thing on his bill and there is a dust spot on the left side.

Dan and Axel are right on. For me the biggest problem is the bird's head angled well away from you.

Jan I agree with the comments on the bird past you. I find the sun angle is always a problem at Lamberts Bay, you always end up with side lighting.
It is a pity that access is limited, it would be better if you could move either to the right to get the sun behind you in the morning or to the left in the afternoon.
