These two Black-backed Jackals fought over a feeding spot at a wildebeest carcass in the Kgalagadi Transfrontier National park.

Wow, talk about a sharp image! Love the interaction between the two. The image has a nice composition as well as the great poses.

What a fantastic image, great pose, expression, background, pp excellent … no negatives at all from me.
Question - what time of day did you take the photo? Just wondering about the high ISO. Beautiful, look forward to seeing more.

Thanks for the comments - I am glad you guys like it! Hilary - I choose a 2000th of a second to freeze any movement and the cloudy conditions resulted in the high ISO - BUT the D3s is more than capable to handle these high ISOs ;)
