Photographed a couple of weeks ago in overcast light at Little Estero Lagoon.

My kind of image Mike !!!!!!! Love this guys !!! Love the low angle and beautiful bg Very good pose and head position Would work around the eye to brighten and try getting detail in the neck area Like this a lot Big Congrats !!!

Great angle, setting and pose. I agree, the eye looks a bit dark.

Thanks to all for the comments !

With respect to the eye, just wanted to point out that these immature birds have a dull and cloudy brownish eye
with not much definition to the pupil, and a dull and inconspicuous orbital ring, very different from the adults.
I have actually already lightened the eye a fair amount to get what you see here but I'll see if I can lighten it up a bit more.

Adding to the above right-on comments, please note the perfect head angle. I would do some clean-up on the bill if it fits with your personal ethics.
