Always a treat to see a Wood Duck pair swimming together. A few pointers to look out for next time out: better seperation between the two birds, a lower angle if possible, and leveling the photo as the ducks look to be swimming downhill. :-)

I know it may sound weird, but for mated pairs I don't mind some merging as long as the heads are clear. This one is right on the edge of that. The drip on her bill is a nice touch.

Nice to have both in the frame. The image needs some CW rotation.

Excellent job by each of the posters above. In an ideal world the hen would have been swimming just ahead of the drake.
In posts like this I am glad to see that everyone has bought into the "honest crtiques done gently" theme. Many folks said that what we were trying to do could not be done. I am thrilled that folks like those above are proving them wrong.
