Took this image the other day, and was surprised at the look in the young deer's face...off to South Carolina tomorrow, to try and catch some early warbler action...good luck to all, with Theme this week...see you all next week.

Paul, Have a great trip and get lots of images. Very funny picture and made me laugh. I might evict the one straight branch under the facing deer's chest.

Nice image and application, Paul.

One thing I notice that bothers me a little is the backs of the two deer. The brown border on the left makes it look like the back is cut off and not extending out of the frame. The tone of the right one, along the border makes it disapear to the same effect. Being a past deer hunter, I know they disappear into the background of the woods. ;) It was just my first impression. I see the reason, but wondered. I might have reversed the border colors to make it more clear on the left one and darkened the back of the right one slightly. But ...
