I'm having a tough time with this one, Myer. The goose butt looks fine..,. as far as goose butts go. And the water/rings immediately surrounding ther goose look okay to me. But the charcoal effect on the water in the background just seems to dominate to my eye and it leaves me feeling very flat. I'm not really familiar with this effect but I am wondering if it might be possible to back off it a little bit.

Just my two cents.

Myer, I think Ed makes some good points. The BG does seem a bit strong. I do like the water around the goose and the rear view is nice. I like the way you interpreted the theme.:)

Nice image concept, Myer.

I agree with the comments above, on the BG density. But ...

I'm also having a little problem finding a horizon line or vertical reference? It seems to me that while the goose looks close to being right, all the water markings appear to show a defined tilt to the left?? As they are strong elements of the image, it is confusing what is right. But ...
