Nice sharp detail. And before any one else says it it would be better to have the head turned more to you :D

Hi Don - Looking good. Perhaps just a tad over flashed- ideally you want the flash to be hardly noticeable.
Love the clean BG and the action and prey is really good.
Images have improved big time. Big Congrats

Dont agree with Myer's wish for more head turn towards you - a little away from you if anything - IMHO.
Not sure if there is a slight halo around the bird.
Good one!!!!!

Another image, is this better??? Note this image was experimenting with more flash, as the subject was in total shadows.
Thks for your kind words, i have so far to go though! This stuff needs to be instinctual , so i can capture images on the "fly". Guees it just takes time, and expereince!:D

Repost is better. Brighter image and much better exposure of the face and very good detail in the feathers. Wish for the highlight being on the face instead of the back The minimall visualization of the left eyeis distracting, would probably be better if not seen at all.

Hi Don, Agree with Lances comments. I don't have a problem with the HA in the first post. Good job removing the upper branch. In the second post I would take out one of the highlights in the beak. Keep going! your doing fine!!
