These guys are really tricky to get clean eye-level shots of. They have been on my "hit list" for a while now and I finally got an image I am pleased with. Hope you like this one :)

Hi Glenn, This is lovely! I find the composition to be very pleasing. A well exposed bird with good detail and pose, a nice simple complimentary background, and I love the moss on the tree all add up to a very nice image. I am impressed with your capture with that shutter speed at that focal length. Well done and thanks for sharing such a nice image.

I agree, this is a neat species and I would love to have an image of this caliber!
The moss compliments the background color nicely!

I'm glad you were able to get him, and very nicely too. He looks like he's falling backwards almost :)

One of the best images of this species I've seen. Great light and BG. It's been on my "hit list" for some time now also.

This one has been on my list as well. I love this. Having tried to get these many times , I know how happy you must be with this. Not only is it a great subject , but you photographed it so well. The BG is magnificent as is the detail captured.

Wonderful job Glenn getting that pose, angle bg and sharpness. I too have tried to get a similar shot of this guy and am still trying.
