Love the composition of this and the red tongue really draws the eye. I assumed some kind of spot light as well?

Given the techs, this is quite incredible. Did the spotlight have a diffuser?

Thx everyone for the comments. The image was made from a vehicle and I used a beanbag as support. The light was from a spotlight on a different vehicle and I don't think it was fitted with a diffuser. It stays a hit and miss affair at 1/60 but switching the vehicle off and taking care to let the bean bag do it's work helps. Getting the flicking tongue sharp is the tricky bit at that speed.

The camera was set manually.

Well done Stephen, the technique certainly worked like a charm. You did well to get sharpness at 1/60

Pretty cool image. I would up the ISO to insure a sharp(er) image. You can fix noise, but ...

Best,
