Myer, although the crab is as cute as can be and you managed to get an excellent pose, the light seems extremely harsh. Did you try to lighten/soften the image at all? I also wonder if I different position would have managed to get you an image without the harsh shadows across the crab's body?

Hi Myer,
Agree with Jules regarding the light harshness. You may want to try a reverse s-curve to lessen the contrast first.....B4 doing the other pp'ing and see if that helps. Selectively lightening the crab may also work. Nice pose and comp.

Thanks. it was 12 noon on a clear sunny day and I was on a boardwalk which did not give me much options, most of the crabs when they saw or senses you, ran into their holes. This one at least posed for me. I will try to lessen the contrast and see what happens

Nice pose of the crab, but indeed the light harshness is not good. Also it's not standing out of the background, maybe a lower level would have helped.
