I had not seen this mentioned anywhere and I'm dot sure where to put it.
Theodore Cross was an accomplished man having advised three presidents on the poor and economic development. He was an avid bird photographer who traveled the world seeking rare birds and had just published a 350 page book of wonderful photographs and text when he passed away last month http://www.amazon.com/Waterbirds-Theodore-Cross/dp/0393072266. He lived in Princeton and Sanibel.
Here's a nice thought for us all. The last five days of his life he made it to Ding Darling to take photographs.
