The last one I posted was a sunset so here is the sunrise to go with it. I love this place and somehow a photograph just can't capture the true feeling of it -I try and would love comments on it.

Canon EOS-1D Mark II N
Lens (mm): 80
ISO: 200
Aperture: 5.6
Shutter: 1/60
Exp. Comp.: -0.3

Thanks

I will be interested in knowing how others will feel about the middle horizon. You could crop above the grass and make a pano but I am liking it this way. I am going to think on it.

Beautiful. The horizon doesn't bother me at all, but just for grins I scrolled the image up to the tip of the darker "triangle" shaped area just left of center. I like it better that way, but I think it has more to do with eliminating the dark area than with moving the horizon.

Keep looking and would like to see a crop from top and bottom Don't have much interest on the very bottom dark area and would not miss the very top either !!! Love the colors !!!

Beautiful clouds! I don't mind the middle horizon at all because of the reeds(?) in the water. I would have otherwise. Comp is fine by me. I might consider cropping a bit off the bottom - not much. May be a tad dark for a print. Great work.

I like this. In some shots with good foreground, middle horizon is okay. Sometimes it is okay to break some 'rules'...

After giving it some thought, I think I would crop from the bottom up to the grass. Eliminate the open water in the lower FG.

I like your cropped version better, I think. That is a pretty interesting sky....
