Jonathon, this is very nice! Was this taken early or late in the day? If late, then I can understand the darkness to it; if not, you might want to ever so lightly lighten it up a tad. Lovely DOF and focus with a very nice undistracting BG. Really nice work!

Nice details and agree with Jules on the nice bg. Great capture.

Thanks for the comments, the shot was taken at around midday but the weather was changeable and the most awkward issue was the butterflies were in very long grass that put them in additional shade. I am happy you like the background, I had to do quite a bit of cloning and patching - there were many blades of grass just out of focus in differing shades of green to beige.
I agree I should have gone a little more with Levels and Recovery slider - it seems obvious now! I am finding that the lighting in the room where my computer is situated is far from ideal, I have submitted a few images of hares recently and their exposure was not ideal either.

Nice details and colors. Good work on the BG--it does not compete with the skippers for attention. I like the two Skippers back to back. I rotated the image CW a bit. What do you thinik?

This is really nice, Jonathan. I agree that its a bit dark but that's an easy fix. I like Anita's rotated version ever better. :)

I think the rotated image is better.
