My Wife and I just got back from a trip where we mixed work with a few days of vacation traveling through many beautiful places of Mexico with our cameras by our sides. Here is a picture of a Vermilion Flycatcher from Chiapas. Hope you like it.

Nice shot indeed! Lovely pose, eye contact and shooting angle. I garee with Karl regarding more contrast or a slight levels adjustment.

Its a beauty I'd pull down the midtones a touch. Excellent Job!

Excellent job on a difficult subject. It is so hard to get the good details in the red crown. How much did you have to tone down the red channel?

Thank you everyone for the comments.

In ACR I toned down the saturation and the luminosity of the RED and Orange channels to -10. Than with the Adjustment Brush I toned down all the spots that were still toasted.
