This is a bottle brush (Calistemon) taken in my garden. The flowers grow out and not up so I had to rotate it from landscape to portrait view. At least it's well and truly blurred:D Exif follows...

I really love the colours in this - they help to anchor the eye. I also like the way in which they are subtly graduated throughout the picture and there is just enough texture to create additional interest.
